                             RESOLUTION NO.   20239 
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO JOIN
                   THE U.S. CONFERENCE OF MAYORS ON BEHALF OF
                   THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA AT A COST NOT TO
                   EXCEED THE CONFERENCE'S SLIDING SCALE FOR
                   MEMBERSHIP BASED ON CHATTANOOGA'S POPULATION.
                  
                  
                                                     
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and is hereby 
authorized
       to join the U.S. Conference of Mayors on behalf of the City of
       Chattanooga at a cost not to exceed the Conference's sliding 
scale
       for membership based on Chattanooga's population.
